Arnaiz participates in the presentation of the annual report against over-regulation by the Community of Madrid

October 1, 2025. Arnaiz, a leading firm in global urban planning and real estate development, recently participated as a guest at an event organized by the Regional Ministry of Economy and the Investment Accelerator of the Community of Madrid, where the regional government presented its annual report against hyperregulation.

In this context, Arnaiz, through its CEO, Luis Arnaiz, presented the success case of data centers. In his remarks, he acknowledged the key role played by the Regional Ministry of Economy and the Investment Accelerator in generating certainty and confidence.

All in all, Arnaiz emphasized that public administrations face the challenge of maintaining a similar line of work, as there is still much to be done to consolidate a competitive and sustainable regulatory environment in the region.

Among the measures included in the annual report against hyperregulation are the simultaneous processing of strategic environmental assessments and environmental impact reports to support projects such as data centers, as well as amendments to the Land Law, among others. In total, the Community of Madrid has implemented 540 measures to reduce regulatory and bureaucratic barriers to starting up and developing businesses.
