- MADRID, 19 September 2022
Madrid, 19th septiembre 2022. The Arnaiz building, designed by the leading global urban planning and real estate development firm, will participate this year in the eighth edition of the international architecture festival Open House Madrid. The event, which will take place from September 23rd to 25th in Madrid, will allow visits for free to a hundred buildings and architecture studios which would normally be closed to the public. During this open day of Madrid’s architecture, it will be possible to visit the Arnaiz Building, one of the most unique buildings in the Community of Madrid.
In the purest New York avant-garde style, the Arnaiz Building is located on Méndez Álvaro Street, and stands out for its broken cube shape and the spectacular glass façade that allows to contemplate the interior of the building from the outside. A unique image that gives personality to Méndez Álvaro Street and generates a relevant point of interest from the North, with a cantilevered roof that covers the breakage of the building, and from the South, with the Arnaiz logo.
During Open House Madrid, visitors will be able to see first-hand the luminosity and transparency that surrounds the building’s entrance at night, giving the impression that the building is completely open to the street. In addition, visitors will also have the unique opportunity to walk around its singular roof top, contemplate the urban transformation that the South of Madrid has undergone, as well as the industrial architecture of the capital from the end of the 19th century to the present day.
Designed by ARNAIZ’s own team, this office building continues to maintain its functionality and avant-garde character after more than 12 years of operation, with a total of 11 floors in addition to another 6 floors below ground for parking. An innovative complex that has a functional design adapted to the needs of flexible and efficient high-quality spaces that invites the citizen to discover each of the architectural features it offers.
