September 18th, 2024. Arnaiz, a leading firm in urban planning and global real estate development, is opening the doors of the Arnaiz building to the public for the third consecutive year on September 28th and 29th. The visit is part of the tenth edition of Open House Madrid, an international architecture event, which from 26 to 29 September offers visits in Madrid to more than a hundred buildings and architecture studios that are usually closed to the public.
In the organised visit to the Arnaiz building, the public will have the opportunity to get to know an outstanding example of contemporary architecture that has played a key role in the urban transformation of the Méndez Álvaro axis. Inaugurated in 2010, this building was one of the first to contribute to the revitalisation of the area and anticipated the development and growth that characterise it today.
Its presence is distinguished by an innovative image that brings a unique identity to the surroundings. Among the most notable aspects are the cantilevered roof, visible from the north, and the emblem of the Arnaiz building, which stands out from the south.
The design of the building has ensured that during its 14 years of existence it has remained an example of innovation and functionality, maintaining a novel appearance in line with contemporary demands for flexible, efficient and sustainable spaces.
With this type of initiative, Arnaiz reaffirms its commitment to the promotion of architecture, while sharing its legacy in real estate development with the public. The inclusion of the Arnaiz building in the festival underlines the importance of maintaining a constant dialogue between architecture, city and community.
