Madrid, November 27^th, 2023. – Arnaiz has participated this morning in the conference “The future of Madrid, New Urban Developments”, to present the Valgrande project (Alcobendas), which is being developed with the collaboration of their technical and legal team and the municipal council technicians of Alcobendas.

Leopoldo Arnaiz, president of Arnaiz and manager of the Valgrande Planning Development Board, has been responsible for explaining the characteristics of this new urban development that completes Alcobendas on its boundary with Madrid and foresees the construction of 8,600 homes, 55% of which will be subsidized housing.

During his speech, Leopoldo Arnaiz pointed out that the project aims to build “a balanced neighbourhood” that will be integrated with the city of Alcobendas, taking advantage of its current communications and transportation networks, in addition to the future ones that will have to be built. This venture seeks to offer a solution to the high demand for affordable housing in Alcobendas; it will protect and respect the natural environment of the area, which will be enhanced; and will function as a Smart City, incorporating all kinds of improvements in terms of emissions, energy efficiency and waste management.

The event, organized by the Asociación de Gestoras de Vivienda (AGV) at the law firm Gómez Acebo-Pombo, was attended by around one hundred people, and also included the presence and participation of Miguel Hernández, Strategy Director of Crea Madrid Nuevo Norte; Luis Roca de Togores, President of the Valdecarros Planning Development Board; Marcos Sánchez-Foncueva, Manager of Los Cerros; Luis Cesteros, Manager of Los Berrocales; Araceli Martín Navarro, President of COWORD; Carolina Roca, President of ASPRIMA; and Juan José Perucho, President of AGV.
