March 20th 2024. Arnaiz, a leading firm in urban planning and global real estate development, has carried out, through Arnaiz Arquitectos, the remodelling project of the short and medium stay aparthotel that the firm socimi All Iron RE I has launched in Madrid, specifically at number 8 of José Abascal street, in the Chamberí neighbourhood.
Arnaiz Arquitectos has been involved in the design and execution of a comprehensive remodelling project of the residential part of the building, which covers an area of 3,154.15 m², and currently consists of 48 flats, which are distributed into 17 studios, 23 one-bedroom flats and 8 two-bedroom flats, all equipped with kitchen and bathroom, and one adapted for use by people with special needs.
The façade of the building has been preserved, and the refurbishment of the interiors has sought to provide security and autonomy to the users, with the implementation of home automation systems and domotics in all the rooms. The decoration, meanwhile, is minimalist and functional; materials such as natural wood and the use of warm colours give the tenant a feeling of comfort and homeliness.
Overlooking the green surroundings of the centrally located Ríos Rosas park and the Canal de Isabel II facilities, this building has been rated “very good” by the international sustainable construction label BREEAM. This system evaluates ten categories, such as building health and water management, with the aim of guaranteeing the best conditions for its end users.
